residential surveys + notifications

For any new mining activities or permit boundary revisions, facilities are required to gather residential information within 1/2-mile from the permitted area or 7/10-mile from blast locations. Decota has experience with canvassing the residential areas within these boundaries in order to obtain current landowner and occupant information. Decota also creates both groundwater inventory and blasting maps. This information is used for the annual notifications to inform citizens of the ongoing mining operations within their area and can also be used in both blasting notifications and for the purpose of identifying potable water sources. If a residence is determined to use a well as a primary source of water, then well water sampling and monitoring is established.
