Mitigation Monitoring

Decota is experienced in completing mitigation monitoring tasks and drafting annual monitoring reports for both government agencies and private entities. Mitigation monitoring data is compiled and compared to both pre-project conditions and success criteria in order to determine the success of the mitigation project.

  • Established in representative riffles and pools of the project in order to have yearly comparison of any shift in the channel from the original design.

  • Used to create a visual model of the layout of a particular area, usually the area of a stream or wetland project.

  • Usually conducted annually along with biological surveys and used for data comparison to determine success of the project.

  • Benthic, Fish, Botanical surveys usually measured annually in order to compare to baseline data and determine success of the project.

  • Typically conducted for post-construction monitoring requirements.
